Accessibility
A website designed to be used.
Accessibility is part of how we design and maintain this site, not a finishing touch.
Last reviewed: 28 July 2026
Our aim
We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, whatever technology or access method they use. Our aim is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA where practical.
What you should be able to do
- Navigate the site using a keyboard without losing track of focus.
- Skip directly to the main content.
- Zoom or enlarge text without content becoming unusable.
- Use the site on a phone, tablet or desktop.
- Understand links, headings, form labels and validation messages.
- Use reduced-motion preferences to limit non-essential movement.
How the site has been built
Pages use semantic headings and landmarks, visible keyboard focus, descriptive image text and labelled form fields. Colour choices are intended to maintain strong contrast, and the mobile menu exposes its open or closed state to assistive technology.
The enquiry form opens your own email application. The email address is also written next to the form so there is a direct alternative.
Known limitations
We are not currently aware of a material accessibility issue, but that does not mean every barrier has been found. Browser, device and assistive technology combinations vary, and this site will continue to be reviewed as it changes.
Tell us about a problem
If any part of the site is difficult to use, or you need information in another format, email carl@teknetik.co. Please describe the page, what you were trying to do and, if you are comfortable doing so, the browser or assistive technology you were using.
We will consider the problem and respond with a practical alternative where we can.
